Hello everyone,

Jenni and Jeremy are excited to announce a new recording project. In terms of scope, it is by far the most ambitious project that either of us have undertaken to date! The aim of this GoFundMe campaign is to secure the remaining funds needed to record this exciting album of clarinet music composed entirely by Jenni Brandon.

Last year, Jeremy had the honor of being a featured soloist at the 50th Anniversary of the International Clarinet Association's "ClarinetFest." To celebrate the occasion, he proposed premiering a new clarinet concerto to Jenni, who eagerly agreed, sparking an incredible collaboration and friendship. Jenni wrote an amazing clarinet concerto entitled Fin de la Tierra: Land's End, where the clarinet serves as a guide taking the listener on a journey throughout the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to observe the beauty and diversity of the landscape, the water, the animals that live in and around it and their symbiotic relationship that require a delicate balance of conservation and observation.

After two and half years of planning and performing the concerto on two separate occasions, we have made final plans to record the concerto in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Jeremy will record the concerto with the Janaček Philharmonic November 18-20, 2024 with PARMA Recordings. PARMA and the Janaček Philharmonic have a robust partnership, having collaborated on more than 35 albums. After we record the clarinet concerto, we will return to Denver to record three other new works for clarinet from December 10-13, 2024 at the University of Denver with Evergroove Studios. Together, these four works will create a world premiere album that will be released by Grammy-Award winning label Navona Records marking the first commercial concerto recording for both of us!

With generous contributions from four University of Denver grants and support from three different instrument companies, we have already raised 88% of the necessary funds. Your support will help us collaborate with the Janaček Philharmonic, PARMA Recordings, Novana Records and Evergroove Studios in Denver.
