Rebuilding the roof after the storm

Hi everyone,

my name is Chiara and I am helping my family raising funds to repair our home that was unfortunately impacted by a storm on the night of the 12/07/23.

The house is located in the countryside of Venice, in a small town called Fossalta di Portogruaro.

With the storm, our roof has been severely damaged, unfortunately.

A bit about the house

It was built at the end of the XX century and is located in front the old town train station. It was originally a tavern and guest house, then in 1957 was purchased by my grandfather and his brother as a gift for my great grandfather, Luigi. Unfortunately, he passed before he could move back to his hometown. My father, Luigi, was named after him and he now owns the place.

We would really appreciate some help to repair some of the damages.

we started to fix temporarily some parts to

avoid more water damages on the ceeling, as weather is still unstable. We received a first quote for 8000.00 Euro to fix the roof, hence I decided to edit the threshold.

Yesterday, my father substitute one of the manholes that was completely destroyed after the chimney felt during the storm .
