Help us to rebuild our home in Noto, Japan..

On January 1st, 2024, a magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck Noto peninsula, Ishikawa prefecture, Japan. Our town of Kuroshima in Wajima city, where we live, was hit hard. The massive destruction destroyed many houses completely - fortunately our house is still standing, but severely damaged. Removing the collapsed part is necessary and major renovation is needed. Our plans for the future is uncertain. At the suggestion of many friends, we have established this Go Fund Me site, in the hopes that many of our friends might contribute and help us rebuild our home & future. Some friends have already offered their support. My husband, Bernd, and I would be gratful for any additional gifts.
