On Sunday, March 27th, a fire north river in CA released embers that landed across the river at two homes in the Arizona River Oasis, Ehrenberg, AZ. The first home quickly burned everything on its' property. The fire soon moved to Linda Hanania and Lorie Kluth's permanent retirement residence. They were able to get the dogs out in time before the flames completely took over. Unfortunately, they had to watch everything they owned melt away. Fortunately, no one was severely injured.
This was the home of Lance Hanania and Linda Hanania. Lance Hanania passed away in October 2012 and left this home as his legacy. This home was everything to Lance and Linda. Their goal in 2012 was to retire there.
Instead, Lorie (Linda's sister) carried on his legacy and retired alongside Linda. The joy and comfort of this place is contagious.
I (Linda's daughter) created this fundraiser for my mom and aunt to help them get back on their feet while waiting for the daunting process of insurance claims. They lost all their clothes, cell phones, iPads, cash, Pontoon boat, HOUSE, furniture, kitchenware, toiletries, dog's medicine, a wheel chair access ramp, family photos. They were getting their RV serviced under warranty and took out all their belongings from there and placed it under the pontoon boat. The list goes on and on.
