On the night of March 16th, just after my birthday and the heartbreaking loss of our family dog, disaster struck again—our barn roof was torn off by a powerful storm. The damage was severe, leaving our horses without any shelter or a safe place to go if another storm were to hit. To make matters worse, our insurance company denied our claim, saying the barn is not considered part of our home. This has left us in a difficult position, trying to protect our horses from the elements with very limited resources.

The funds raised will go directly toward repairing the barn and providing a safe, dry place for our horses to escape the weather. With summer approaching, it’s especially urgent to give them shelter from the miserable heat and unpredictable storms. Our horses mean the world to us, and it’s heartbreaking to see them without the protection they need.
