Recently, devastating floods struck Poza Rica, Veracruz, as heavy rains caused the Cazones River to overflow and unleashed more than 12 ft of water through streets and neighborhoods. Dozens lost their homes, streets were submerged, vehicles were swept away, and power was cut off across many communities.

My family was directly affected by this disaster. We lost belongings, and parts of our home were damaged, forcing us to rebuild from nearly nothing. Now, we need help to recover—replacing furniture, restoring walls, repairing plumbing and electrical systems, and covering immediate living costs.
