Help Us Rebuild Our Home After Devastating Storm Damage

On July 3rd, our home, where we’ve spent the past three years building a safe and loving space for our family of three, was severely damaged during a sudden wind storm/tornado. A large tree from our neighbor’s yard came crashing down onto our house, causing extensive destruction.

The damage was overwhelming:

    •    Major structural damage to the house

    •    Severe water damage throughout

    •    Our daughter’s bedroom was hit especially hard

    •    Countless personal items and essentials were lost

We’re incredibly thankful that our family is safe and that our insurance is helping cover a large portion of the rebuilding costs. But like many families in moments like this, we’ve quickly realized that there are critical gaps.

Here’s what we still need help with:

    •    A $5,000 insurance deductible

    •    Essential items and furniture that were damaged and aren’t covered

    •    Out-of-pocket expenses for removing the massive tree stump, as our neighbor is a renter and the property owner nor his insurance is taking responsibility

Right now, we are temporarily displaced and doing our best to move forward while navigating the challenges of repairs, clean-up, and finding stability for our daughter.

Your support, no matter how big or small, would mean the world to us. It would help us complete the rebuilding process and get back into our home as soon as possible. More than anything, it would bring comfort back to our daughter, who longs to return to the space she knows and loves.
