We’re a family who simply wanted to build a home where we could live comfortably and create lasting memories. We planned an extension to give us the space we needed, a dream we worked hard and saved for over many years.

But everything changed when cowboy builders walked away from our project.

We were left with a half-finished structure, no roof, no windows, no doors, no kitchen, and a home that’s felt more like a construction site than a safe haven. We’ve been cooking on camping burners and trying to live day-to-day in a space that’s incomplete and unfit for a family.

We used every penny of our savings, maxed out credit cards, and took out loans just to make the extension watertight and secure. When we tried to take legal action, we discovered the builder had liquidated his company, leaving us with nothing but debt, stress, and a long road ahead.

What hurts most is that we trusted this person. We told him we were putting everything we had into this build. We begged him not to do us over, but he still walked away, and we’ve been left to deal with the financial, emotional, and physical toll ever since.

We’re asking for help through this GoFundMe to finally complete the work and give our family the safe, warm home we dreamed of.

What we still need to complete:

• Installing a proper, functioning kitchen with appliance's

• Completing essential electrical and plumbing work

• Creating a safe living environment for our family
