In these heartrending times, we appeal for your compassion to save my sister and her daughter, trapped in the Gaza war. Despite her severe health challenges following a heart attack and stent surgery less than a month before the war, she resisted leaving Gaza. Moved by her daughters' endless tears, the heart-wrenching destruction of her entire neighborhood and home in Kan Younis, and facing insurmountable medical and shelter crises, she now must find refuge. However, the daunting cost for safe passage, inflation, and the refugee housing crisis in Egypt, coupled with our commitment to supporting a severely injured child relative with no help from any government or international organizations, overwhelm us. Your aid can uphold our belief in paying it forward, offering them a chance for a new beginning amidst this dire adversity and extending a desperately needed helping hand to others that share her plight.

في هذه الأوقات الأليمة والمحزنة، نناشدكم لإنقاذ أختي وابنتها من خانيونس في قطاع غزة المكلوم. على الرغم من التحديات الصحية الشديدة التي واجهتها بعد نوبة قلبية وجراحة عاجلة لإنقاذها قبل شهر واحد من الحرب، إلا أنها قاومت فكرة مغادرة غزة طيلة ستة أشهر. متأثرة بدموع بناتها التي لا تتوقف والدمار المفجع لمنزلها في خانيونس الذي كان يأوي ٦ عائلات وتدمير الحي بالكامل ومواجهتها أزمات طبية وإيوائية لا يمكن التغلب عليها لا الآن ولاحتي بعد الحرب، وافقت مكرهه علي البحث عن ملاذ آمن في مصر. لكن رسوم الإجلاء المرتفعة، والتضخم، وأزمة سكن اللاجئين في مصر، إلى جانب التزامنا بدعم وإعالة طفل قريب أصيب بجروح بالغة وفرقته الحرب عن عائلته للعلاج في مصر دون مساعدة من أي حكومة أو منظمة دولية، تثقل كاهلنا. يمكن لمساعدتكم أن تعزز إيماننا بمبدأ "العطاء للأمام"، مانحين إياهم فرصة لبداية جديدة وسط هذه المحنة الشديدة. ندعو الله أن يعيننا وإياكم علي فعل الخير دائما.
