*UPDATE*

Thank you so incredibly much to everyone who has supported and donated! The fundraiser in Naples at Inspire Moore Winery on Sunday, 10/1 was a huge success with lots of turnout and fun community activities. It was nice to see some of your faces and to meet those I hadn’t met yet! The energy was infectious and the weather was even more perfect.

And then there’s Lauren Sherwood. I cannot speak for her as her experience comes with trauma and hurt that will undoubtedly stick around for a long time to come but I will try. Lauren has been humbled and has been beside herself with love at the generosity of everyone. She would never think to ask for help in this capacity. I knew it was important to raise as much money as possible in many different forms and you all have shown up in so many ways. And continue to do so. ❤️ Thank you so much for the love and kindness you’ve shown!!!

-Hi everyone! My name is Nick Sanchez and I am a resident of Naples, NY! I’m not originally from the area, but I was first introduced to Naples via The Bristol Theater. The theater did not have actor housing; we had to stay in the homes of locals who offered out their space and hearts. I had the luck and honor of staying with Lauren Sherwood in her home and fell in love with Naples through her home and through her eyes.

Very recently, Lauren downsized her life and moved into another beautiful home just a few blocks away. This house was the perfect combination of history and convenience. I was also honored to help with designing some of the interior spaces as well including the heart of the home: the kitchen.

Unfortunately, she recently had a massive house fire and lost nearly everything. She is always positive, always thankful and always helping others. I think it’s time we gave some back to one of our valuable residents who supports every fine local establishment and always has. Lauren is not only a dear friend to me but I’ve always looked up to her and admired her outlook on life. Let’s get things started for her and help get her back into her beautiful home sooner than later! Every dollar will go toward rebuilding Lauren’s home.

we’ve set the goal for $5000 which, as you can imagine, will really not cover much to rebuild her home. Alas, it will go toward something and any bit counts. Let’s see if we can surpass that!!!
