Hello,

My name is Claudia Welsh and I am here with my friend Leon Francis. We both hail from Jamaica and currently live in West London. We are both heart broken to see our homeland Jamaica completely destroyed by Hurricane Melissa.

Everybody associates Jamaica with Sun and tropical weather plus an easy going lifestyle. However like most places on our beloved planet, there are hundreds of small communities who work hard to create its reputation. These communities are now struggling for the basics including clean water, healthcare and food.

So me and Leon are asking you if you would make a small donation to help rebuild our homeland. The money you give will be sent to churches in our community so that they can help purchase food and distribute it to those that need it.
