Hi, my name is Sana Sourani, a 57-year-old. My family (my husband and daughter) and I have been trying everything to evacuate from Gaza, but unfortunately, to no avail.
The ongoing conflict has created an unimaginable and unsafe environment for my family. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart seeking your support to help us evacuate, find safety, and rebuild our shattered lives.
We have lost our home and our source of income, Nakheel village, during the conflict with Israel. In a glimpse of an eye, we lost everything. Now I find myself in an urgent and dire situation. We have already lost two precious family members, my brother-in-law and his son, to the violence inflicted by war, and now we fear for our safety.
To seek safety, we moved within the Gaza Strip multiple times. The thought of losing another loved one is unbearable. With the situation in Gaza growing increasingly perilous, we are left with no choice but to seek refuge elsewhere.
I am crowdfunding to rebuild our home and source of income, Nakheel village, in the Gaza Strip, which was tragically destroyed during the conflict with Israel. Your support will help us regain stability and rebuild our lives amidst this devastating loss.
Funds raised will cover our evacuation from Gaza through the Egyptian borders. However, to leave, we are required to pay $5000 USD per person, and we are three persons (my husband, our daughter, and me). Additionally, the funds will support the comprehensive rebuilding of our home and work, covering construction materials, labor, and essential furnishings. The project timeline hinges on the cessation of conflict, the funds raised, and logistical factors.
