I’m reaching out after a devastating fire at our home on Malibu Palms Drive in Virginia Beach. The fire started in another unit, but within moments, our entire world was turned upside down. I called the office and 911 as soon as I smelled something burning, but by the time help arrived, everything we owned was destroyed. We our stuff was damaged . The only thing we managed to grab was our passports. It’s hard to put into words how overwhelming it is to lose your home and memories in an instant.

The fire department found our cat barely breathing, and she was rushed to the emergency vet. We are grateful to be safe, but now we’re facing the challenge of starting over. Every bit of support will help us get back on our feet and bring some hope during this difficult time.

and it’s means a lot and is truly and honestly appreciated. Thank you for reading our story and for being there for us when we need it most.
