My family and I have always tried to stay strong through tough times, but the recent flooding changed everything for us. In a matter of hours, we lost our home, all of our belongings, and both of our vehicles. It’s hard to put into words how overwhelming it feels to have nothing left and to see my parents struggling alongside me. We are doing our best to stay hopeful, but starting over from scratch is something we never imagined we’d have to do.

Right now, we’re focused on finding a safe place to stay, getting enough food, and replacing the basic things we need to get by. Every little bit of support will help us take steps toward rebuilding our lives. Your kindness will help us get back on our feet and give us hope for a fresh start.
