Just nine days before Christmas, my family and I experienced something we never could have prepared for. Two massive 80-foot pine trees, along with the 6x10-foot tree house I built for our kids, were knocked over by horrific winds and crashed onto our house. The damage to the back side of our home is extensive, and it’s left us feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about how to move forward, especially during what should be a joyful season.
We are now facing the challenge of covering our insurance deductible, dealing with lost wages as I take time off work to clean up and make repairs, and trying to restore some sense of normalcy for our family. The holidays are meant to be a time of togetherness and hope, but this unexpected disaster has made things incredibly difficult for us.
Any support you can offer will go directly toward helping us recover, repair our home, and get back on our feet. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to us as we work to rebuild and bring some holiday spirit back into our lives. Thank you so much for considering a donation and for keeping our family in your thoughts.
