Help Us Rebuild After Oakland Apartment Fire

On April 7th, 2026, our lives changed forever when a fire broke out in the apartment below ours at 200 Fairmount Ave in Oakland. The flames quickly spread, destroying our home and leaving us, our four beloved pets, and everything we own in turmoil. The heartbreak of losing our cat Daisy Mae to smoke inhalation is something we are still struggling to process—she was the best little person ever—and another of our pets is facing serious complications from the smoke. In a matter of hours, we lost not only our home but also most of our belongings, from the smallest kitchen essentials to our bed.

We are now displaced, unsure of when we’ll be able to return, and facing the daunting task of rebuilding our lives from scratch. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering urgent vet bills, securing temporary housing, replacing essential items, and helping us afford food and gas as we navigate this difficult time.

Any support, no matter the amount, will make a difference for us and our pets. We can’t thank you enough in advance for your generosity and kindness. Your help means the world to us as we try to heal and move forward after this devastating loss.
