My name is Tonee, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times in our lives. My husband, Joseph, recently suffered a serious stroke at just 55 years old. This unexpected and life-altering event has turned our world upside down, both emotionally and financially.

Joseph has always been a strong, loving, and hardworking man—someone who has spent his life working hard. Now he needs help with basic tasks and care as he begins the long road to recovery. The stroke has impacted his mobility and speech, and he will require extensive rehabilitation, physical therapy, and specialized medical equipment.

Unfortunately, this has placed a significant financial strain on our family. In addition to mounting medical bills, I’ve had to take on multiple jobs to provide basic needs for our family and we are struggling to keep up with our daily living expenses.

We’re asking for help to cover:

   •   Home modifications and equipment to support his mobility

   •   Transportation to medical appointments

   •   Basic household expenses while I serve as his primary caregiver
