In February of 2025, my wife experienced a medical emergency that almost left me without her and our 2.5-year-old daughter without a mom.  Prior to this, money became tight due to my wife being on medical leave from September 2024 to January 2025. Since my wife was previously on FMLA, she could only take short-term leave and eventually departed from her job altogether for health and mental health reasons.

In June of 2025, we were on our way to pick up our daughter from daycare, a typical day; my wife woke up from resting and she had a seizure. After several appointments, we found out that my wife has a functional neurological disorder with seizures/attacks. Due to personal stressors, I unfortunately, chose to leave my job soon thereafter, in late May of 2025, in hopes of finding something that would allow me to work closer to home so that I could be there for my wife and daughter, while also not stretching myself thin; In order to mitigate stress and the toll of living away from our support system, we mutually decided to move in with my wife's family by the end of August 2025; however, since then we have depleted our savings in hopes of sustaining our family while I searched for a new job, finished school, and worked to rebuild our family's health.

We are looking for assistance to help with bills that have piled up over time and are causing us financial hardship. We are so appreciative of anything; any assistance will help us to restore ourselves financially and decrease the stress on our family overall as I am just trying to provide my family with a new start.
