Help Us Rebuild After Losing Everything in Cyprus Wildfires

Hi, my name is Marques Townes, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart after an unimaginable tragedy.

On July 23, 2025, our home in Souni, Cyprus, was completely destroyed by the devastating wildfires that swept through the area. We had no time to save anything as we were away from our home. I managed to get to the street of our home, but as soon as I turned down our street, it was full of smoke and fire.

Our family — me, my wife, our daughter, my wife’s parents, and her younger sister — have lost absolutely everything:

Our clothes and belongings

Important documents

Our sense of safety and normalcy

We are now left with nothing but each other — and the hope that we can slowly rebuild our lives.

We urgently need help with:

Basic necessities like clothes, household things, etc.

Supplies for my wife's little 8-year-old sister

Needs for a 6 Month Old Girl

Replacing essential lost items

Starting over from scratch
