Help Us Rebuild After Extreme Theft in Bilbao

Hi, I’m Anna, and I never thought I’d be writing something like this.

On the 8th July whilst travelling in Spain, our car was broken into in Bilbao and many items were stolen—a passport, laptops, clothing, shoes, gold & silver jewellery, watches, money, bank cards, work tools & very rare car tuning equipment, to irreplaceable personal items. This was an extreme theft

We were meant to travel to the UK by ferry, but my partner’s passport was stolen, so we missed the ferry, had to go to the police and Peter had to travel to Madrid to the consulate for a temp passport so we can get home on the next available ferry

Peter spent years building his car tuning business, all his equipment was incredibly rare and expensive and it’s now gone. He now cannot carry out any of his work. The cost to replace is unimaginable, not only the equipment itself but an entire software database he has built from scratch with pen drives etc. His business means everything to him and cannot run without such distinct equipment.

I know clothes, jewellery etc can be replaced, however this could be extremely difficult for Peter to rebuild what he has created. He has work booked in for 3 months worth of customers in his business that can no longe run
