Last night, our family home in Edinburg, Texas, was destroyed by a fire. My husband, our four children, my mom, and I were all living there together, along with our two dogs and five little birds. While we are grateful that everyone is safe, we are heartbroken by the loss of our birds and the place we called home.

We were only able to save a small amount of clothing, and everything else was lost in the fire. Right now, our most urgent need is finding a safe place for our family to stay while we figure out how to rebuild our lives. If it becomes possible to rebuild our home, we would be deeply grateful for any support that helps us take those steps.
