On Saturday, November 15th, 2025, my family and I experienced a devastating house fire that changed our lives in an instant. An electrical fire started in the front of our home and quickly spread up the wall and into the ceiling. The flames moved rapidly through the top of the house, burning everything in their path before moving toward the back. We lost all of our belongings, our home, and our beloved parrot Aries. Eighteen years of memories, keepsakes, and the comforts we built together as a family were destroyed in a matter of hours.


Now, my husband, our three children, our dogs, and I are facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over. We are in urgent need of help with first and last month’s security deposit for a rental home so we can have a safe place to stay. We also need personal items for two adults, three children, and our dogs—everything from clothing to daily essentials. The loss is not just material; it’s the loss of the place where we built our lives and raised our children.
