On a recent morning, a devastating fire engulfed our home, leaving my family and me with nothing but the clothes on our backs. I lived with my mom, her boyfriend, sister, and niece, and thankfully, we all escaped unharmed. However, the fire took everything else from us, and we are now faced with the daunting task of rebuilding our lives from scratch.

Currently, we are staying at a hotel, thanks to the support of the Red Cross. While we are grateful for the temporary shelter, we urgently need help to replace essential items like clothing and beds. These basics are crucial for us to regain a sense of normalcy and comfort during this challenging time.
