On Friday night, our power went out because of the ice and snow. When the power finally came back on, we believe something in our home caught fire. The roads were so bad that the fire department couldn't even reach us in time to put it out. By the time we realized what was happening, it was already too late. Our house was a complete loss. We lost everything—our clothes, valuables, and family possessions. It's hard to put into words how devastating it feels to see your home and memories disappear overnight.

Right now, my mom and I are trying to figure out our next steps. We need help with temporary housing and replacing the basic items we lost. Every day brings new challenges, and it's overwhelming to think about starting over from scratch. But we know we have to keep going, and we're doing our best to stay hopeful.

This is a very hard time for us, and it pains me to ask for help, but I have no choice. It's not just me I'm worrying about—it's my mom too.
