On November 28, 2025, our lives changed in an instant. We received a call from a neighbor that our family home was on fire. When we arrived, all we could see was smoke, fire trucks, and the fear of what we might lose. Our thoughts immediately went to our dogs, who were part of our family. Tragically, we lost two of them in the fire, and our third is still fighting for their life in the animal hospital.
We are three sisters and a brother who took over our parents’ house after they passed away—our father in November 2021 and our mother in December 2020. This time of year is already difficult for us, and the fire has made it even harder. The house that held so many memories is now damaged, and we are left trying to pick up the pieces while caring for our surviving dog.
We are asking for help as we manage the costs of temporary housing, vet bills, and replacing clothes and other essentials lost in the fire. We know the holidays are around the corner, and any donation—big or small—will make a difference for our family. Thank you for your kindness and support during this incredibly hard time.
El 28 de noviembre de 2025, nuestras vidas cambiaron en un instante. Recibimos una llamada de un vecino informándonos que nuestra casa familiar estaba en llamas. Cuando llegamos, lo único que podíamos ver era humo, camiones de bomberos y el miedo de lo que pudiéramos perder. Nuestros pensamientos se dirigieron inmediatamente a nuestros perros, que eran parte de nuestra familia. Trágicamente, perdimos a dos de ellos en el incendio y el tercero todavía lucha por su vida en el hospital de animales. Somos tres hermanas y un hermano que nos hicimos cargo de la casa de nuestros padres después de su fallecimiento: nuestro padre en noviembre de 2021 y nuestra madre en diciembre de 2020. Esta época del año ya es difícil para nosotros y el incendio lo ha hecho aún más difícil. La casa que guardaba tantos recuerdos ahora está dañada y nosotros debemos intentar recoger los pedazos mientras cuidamos a nuestro perro superviviente. Pedimos ayuda para gestionar los costos de alojamiento temporal, facturas del veterinario y reemplazo de ropa y otros artículos esenciales perdidos en el incendio. Sabemos que las fiestas están a la vuelta de la esquina y cualquier donación, grande o pequeña, marcará la diferencia para nuestra familia.
