Why your support matters
For us, the studio is more than a building filled with equipment. It is a place where ideas become music, where artists develop their talents and where our creative community comes together.
The damage has temporarily taken away that space, but with the support of friends, artists, music lovers and everyone who believes in the power of creativity, we can rebuild.
Every donation helps.
Whether you can give $5, $20, $50 or more, your contribution will help us move closer to reopening the studio.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, musicians and creative communities.
Together, we can rebuild the Studio and get the music playing again.
How the funds will reach Studio One Thousand
Studio One Thousand is located in Zimbabwe, which is currently not a country supported for direct GoFundMe withdrawals.
The fundraiser is therefore being organized by a trusted representative based in Australia , who meets GoFundMe’s requirements to receive the funds.
Once funds are released, the organizer will transfer the money to Studio One Thousand in Zimbabwe to be used specifically for the rebuilding and restoration work described in this fundraiser.
We are committed to keeping this process transparent and will provide updates on how the funds are used, including progress on the roof repairs, electrical restoration and replacement of damaged studio equipment.
