We never imagined we’d be in this position, but our home was recently hit by a devastating flood. In a matter of moments, everything we’ve worked so hard for was taken from us. The damage to our home is severe, and we’ve lost nearly all of our belongings—furniture, clothing, personal items, and the everyday essentials we depended on.

Right now, we’re trying to navigate what comes next while dealing with the emotional and financial weight of starting over. This has been an incredibly overwhelming and uncertain time for us, as we work to find temporary housing and begin rebuilding our lives from the ground up.

On top of everything, even our dog has been deeply affected by the trauma and will need care, but our main focus is simply getting back on our feet and restoring some sense of normalcy.
