Help Us Rebuild after Derecho - Minerva's Meadow
Donation protected
2020 is the first year of Minerva's Meadow, a black-woman owned family flower farm in rural Iowa. Our first successful crop was just hit by the derecho storm on August 10th 2020 that's devastated much of the region. 1/3 of Iowa's cropland is destroyed including our small flower farm's right as we were getting going. Plants and trees were ripped up from their roots!
Minerva's Meadow is seeking support to help rebuild and cover basic emergency supplies in the aftermath of the storm (supplies like a generator for power, a chainsaw to help free the property from all the downed trees and debris, wood, tarps and seed for rebuilding and replanting, etc). It takes more than a tempest to keep this family down and with your support, we can rebound. Every little bit helps as we face our first year.
Thank you for your support.
