During the flooding in Cocke county, my husband and I lost everything. We had to be rescued from our home by boat. Our house separated from the foundation, was flooded inside, and floated away with us and our pets inside. We also lost our truck, which was submerged and ended up on the creek bank behind our neighbor's house. Now we are homeless and without transportation. My husband works over an hour away, and we are in a desperate situation.


We are starting this GoFundMe to help us buy a used car and pay for essentials like food, clothes, hygiene items, rental deposits, and a hotel room until we can find a place to rent that allows pets. Everything we had was lost in just a few minutes when our home filled with water. These funds will help us cover basic needs and start rebuilding our lives.
