Help Us Rebuild After Apartment Fire
Donation protected
On the evening of June 30th, while returning from the USPK national parkour competition, my fiancée Jordan and I received the devastating news that our apartment in Spokane Valley, Washington, had caught fire. The fire not only destroyed much of our furniture and personal belongings, but also left us responsible for significant damages to the unit. Our two dogs, Mia and Zeus, were rescued by firefighters, but the experience was traumatic for them and for us. We also have several exotic pets—three geckos, a tarantula, a Russian tortoise, and two ball pythons—many of whom have been displaced and now need new enclosures and supplies due to smoke and fire damage.
As if the fire wasn’t enough, I am also recovering from fractured ribs and a punctured lung, which has left us with mounting medical bills. We had been planning our wedding, but with the financial strain of repairs, medical expenses, and the urgent need to secure a new place to live, even that dream feels out of reach. We’re especially worried about the long-term health of our pets after their smoke exposure, and we want to make sure they have safe, comfortable homes again.
We’re reaching out for help to cover the costs of repairs, medical bills, new pet amenities, and moving expenses. Any support will help us rebuild our lives, care for our animals, and hopefully get back on track toward a brighter future together.
