Help Us Rebuild After an Unexpected Accident

I'm reaching out because my family is facing an incredibly tough and unexpected challenge. My husband, Alex, was struck by a car one month ago in a Quick Trip parking lot, and the injuries to his leg, neck, and shoulder have turned our world upside down. As a contractor, Alex needs to be physically able to work with his hands, climb roofs, etc. His recovery requires physical therapy 3-4 times a week, leaving him unable to do the job he loves. If you know Alex, you know that even though he deserves justice in this case, he won’t ask to ruin another person’s life. The money meant for finding a home needs to go to medical bills, so house hunting has come to a halt.

He was laid off months ago and has been picking up odd jobs just to keep food on the table for his three children. But with his injuries, it’s becoming harder to provide the stability our family needs. Watching him struggle, knowing how much he wants to take care of us, has been heartbreaking. Finding a home for us has been heavy, but we’re fighting to have some sense of normalcy in the chaos!

As someone who’s always tried to handle things on my own, asking for help is hard. But right now, we’re at a point where we really need it.
