Help Us Rebuild After a Heartbreaking Burglary

A few days ago while we slept our house was broken into. They stole almost everything we had. Including my computer which was 5ft away from where I was sleeping. 

They took ipads, computers, cameras, all of our money, cards, my saxophone, all of my cigars. Thousands of dollars worth of my husband's tools. And they even took my favorite hat and my makeup. Which is why I'm not wearing any right now. They took about $14,000 worth of stuff. 

They took all of our cash and cards and completely cleaned us out. 

We have literally no money. Our neighbors just lent us some so we can get groceries. 

So we filed a police report and that's going to take a week for them to finish. But the insurance is already saying they won't be able to cover the stolen items if there isn't a sign of violent or forceful breaking and entering. I'm assuming they picked the locks. So we're fearful that were just out 14K and even if the insurance does pay for some of our lost items they said it will take months to process the return. 

I hate asking for money. And I know we just did a huge fundraiser for Durrell. But right now we need it and trust me I would not be asking if I didnt. We need this No only to recoup some of our lost items. But also to help us get back up to the states so I can feel safe again.
