Help Us Rebuild After a Devastating Condo Fire

Hi, my name is Anatoliy.

On Wednesday, July 30th, a fire tore through my childhood home—my mom Victoria’s condominium unit—and caused extensive damage. The fire started unexpectedly due to a faulty dryer, and while the fire didn’t completely destroy the unit, the water damage and destruction caused during firefighting efforts have left it uninhabitable.

This wasn’t just a place to live. It’s been our home for over 20 years, filled with memories of birthdays, holidays, and everyday life. Seeing it so suddenly damaged has been incredibly difficult.

To make matters worse, we do not have wall-in homeowners insurance coverage. We’re now facing the financial burden of repairs, replacing damaged belongings, and supporting my mom while she’s temporarily displaced for what could be 2–3 months.
