Help Us Rebuild

At 3:30am on October 12, 2016, my mom woke up to a house full of smoke.  She went out and saw the side of the house completely engulfed in flames.  She was able to get my little brother and their two dogs out but that was all they had time for.  My dad was/is in Florida taking care of his father who was in the hospital and is not doing well. 

We spent that whole day trying to see if there was anything we could salvage from the house.  We found a couple boxes that weren’t too damaged and were able to rescue some pictures from the boxes.  Some clothes might be salvageable and a few odds and ends. 

We lost all of the furniture 99 percent of their clothes and all of our furniture, accessories, family heirlooms and much more. 

We are truly grateful despite the material losses because we still have each other and that is what truly matters. That being said we are still going to have to try to start over from ground up with the house and furnishings and what not.  Any help we can get with trying to rebuild our lives and get reestablished would be amazing. 

My family will be traveling a lot through this as my father tries to return home for a little while and my older brother takes some leave from overseas to be with us as we try to figure out our next steps.  Prayers for peace, prayers of praise, and prayers of safe travels would also be appreciated!
