My friends and I decided to keep going with NHD (National History Day) since it was just a thing we started in the classroom. But we got to go to state, and to all of our surprise, we won state in our category! We can go to nationals, but come to find out, this would NOT be paid for by the school to get all the way to Maryland. I want to start this so our work doesn't go to waste and we don't make it because we simply can't afford the travel and hotels.
