Help us raise money for Shining Star Daycare Tanzania

Hi everyone!

We’re currently in Tanzania, volunteering at a daycare called Shining Stars. This center cares for children from infancy up to age 6 or 7, preparing them for the next stages of their education. There are two main classes – Baby and Middle – after which the children can hopefully move on to secondary school.

In our time here, we’ve been so inspired by the children’s boundless enthusiasm, energy, and joy. Their eagerness to learn has reminded us how easy it is to take education for granted in our own countries.

The teachers at Shining Stars are deeply committed to making this school a lasting source of pride for the community. Led by the director, Miss Rose, they’ve developed a vision for both the immediate and future needs of the center:

Immediate Needs:

• Mattresses

• Stationery

• Rent

• Food

Long-Term Goals:

• A school bus

• Additional land for a larger school

We know charities often ask for donations, but you rarely get to see the direct impact. Here, we can truly say we’ve seen this school in action, and we’re confident that your support will go directly toward helping Shining Stars continue their wonderful work. Together, we can help create a nurturing environment for these young minds to thrive.
