help us raise money for Ellie’s unexpected emergency surgery

Hi, my name is Victoria and if you know anything about me, Ellie is my happy go lucky girl and also the love of my life.

Ellie had a rough start to life being found as an abused stray in Texas, and was rescued and brought to me. She has since lit up my life and healed my soul - she is the definition of a cuddle bug and velcro dog.

Though Ellie has one of the happiest tails around, unfortunately her happy tail wags have resulted in a cut that won’t heal over that resulted in a serious infection and so we had an emergency visit at the vet this morning. I am devastated to find out that our only option is emergency surgery to amputate the portion of her tail with the cut, so she can heal (and continue her happy bum wags and spreading smiles).

The surgery is scheduled for later today, and, like many pet owners have experienced, it’s not an expense I anticipated and I am in shambles. My Ellie girl is my whole world, and I will do anything I can to make her feel better.

Unfortunately this operation is more than I can manage right now, so if you have the ability to help, it would be greatly appreciated (by both of us).
