In Loving Memory of Paul Pike
We are heartbroken to share the passing of Paul Pike, a young man who touched the lives of so many.
I JAYWAY had the privilege of mentoring Paul through MW Impact, where we built a strong and genuine bond. I spent time with him at his school, The Edge in Northfield, and at his home in Barton Lodge, where he lived under Meadows care. The staff at Barton Lodge were not just carers, they were like family to Paul, supporting him and being a constant presence in his life. He grew up in Kings Heath and was well known in his community.
Paul was full of character, passion, and loyalty. He was a devoted Birmingham City fan and a proud supporter of Solihull Moors, attending games every chance he could. Football was a huge part of who he was, and he also had a strong love for cricket.
Tragically, Paul passed away after attending a Birmingham City away game in Derby. His body was later found within the area. This devastating news has deeply affected everyone who knew him.
During the time Paul was missing, the Birmingham City community truly came together. Fans showed incredible support by sharing posts, spreading awareness, and physically going out to help search for him. It was a powerful reflection of how much he meant to people.
Solihull Moors also honoured Paul in a recent match with a moving round of applause, showing just how far his presence reached within the football community.
Paul leaves behind his loving mum Lisa, and his brothers Andrew and James, who are facing an incredibly difficult time.
We are raising funds to give Paul the send-off he deserves, one that reflects his spirit, his passions, and the impact he had on those around him. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go towards helping his family and ensuring he is laid to rest with dignity and love.
Paul will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Thank you for your support ❤️
