Hi everyone,
Help Us raise funds to deliver Aid and supplies to those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine and Donate two 4x4’s to their Frontline Workers. Leave: December 15th, 2025.
My name is Stjohn Hall, my friend Aaron O’Reilly and I, along with Aaron’s father, Conor O’Reilly are asking for your help in raising £6500 for a grassroots humanitarian mission to Ukraine, Arron is a long-standing volunteer and advisor with the incredible Manx Support for Ukraine charity and has done similar journey’s many times over the course of the war.
Aaron’s experience is invaluable and this couldn’t work without him, he has travelled to Ukraine six times with Manx Support for Ukraine (Charity No. 1355), delivering aid across Lviv, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Boryslav, supporting children’s orphanages first responders an animal shelter and even helping deliver a fire engine to the Ukrainian fire service.
Together, we’re planning to take two trucks from Ireland across Europe to Mykolaiv, Ukraine. Both carrying vital support where it’s needed most. We also plan to make a stop at an orphanage in Borysla, Ukraine that has been taking care of those who have lost their families as a result of the conflict. For those interested we also will be collecting shoeboxes with small presents to drop to the orphanage on the way to our end destination as it is close to Christmas and we both feel this little extra will go a long way. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to donate one.
The first truck will be filled with humanitarian and animal aid, destined for a pet sanctuary near Mykolaiv that Aaron visited during his November 2024 mission. The sanctuary’s volunteers care for hundreds of animals rescued from frontline and bomb-damaged areas, often with little food or medicine but endless compassion.
The second truck — a 4x4 — will be donated to local officers and emergency responders in Mykolaiv, who desperately need reliable transport to reach communities still living in danger zones. This vehicle will help with evacuations, supply runs, and animal rescue work in surrounding areas.
We’re appealing for financial (anything at all helps) donations, shoeboxes and any emergency or rescue equipment that can be supplied for the officers’ 4x4 — such as:
• Basic first-aid or trauma kits
• Torches, radios, or navigation gear
• Rescue tools or recovery equipment (ropes, tow straps, etc.)
• Protective gear and emergency clothing
The charity’s work, both in Ukraine and supporting refugees on the Isle of Man — has been nothing short of life-changing. I’m proud to be volunteering alongside Aaron, guided by his experience and the charity’s contacts we are in capable hands.
Your donations will help cover:
• The purchase and preparation of both trucks in Northern Ireland
• Fuel, insurance, and border documentation for the journey
• Animal aid and humanitarian supplies
• Emergency and rescue equipment for the officers’ 4x4
We’re not a big organisation; we have no external funding simply two volunteers trying to make a tangible difference with limited means and a lot of determination. Every mile we travel will be powered by your generosity and it makes a difference to a lot of people so thank you.
You can learn more about the amazing work of Manx Support for Ukraine by searching for them online or on Facebook if interested. They’re a registered Isle of Man charity that’s been delivering real help to real people since day one of the war. This would also not be possible without their past experience in the area.
Every donation, every share, and every message of support helps us bring hope, safety, and a bit of light to a very dark place.
Thank you so much for believing in us and for standing with our cause and those affected by the war in Ukraine. No one deserves to live in a war zone let alone spend Christmas in one.
With gratitude,
Stjohn Hall and Aaron O’Reilly
