In the name of God the most Gracious, the Most Merciful (Bismillah Al Rahman Al Raheem)
“Verily we belong to Allah, and truly to Him shall we return” (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un)
Adham A. was a 33-year-old Egyptian doctoral candidate studying in NYC. He lived alone in the US and has few family members in Egypt. He recently passed away unexpectedly, leaving his family back home facing unexpected funeral and related expenses, such as debts and legal costs, etc.
In the Muslim tradition, the Janazah Prayer is planned at 12 pm on Thursday 2/6/24 at the MCC: Muslim Community Center in Brooklyn, InshaAllah.
As this is a timely matter, we are reaching out to our community to help us urgently raise funds to provide a dignified burial service to honor his memory, as well as to financially support his family as they navigate this painful time.
Each contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated.
May Allah grant him eternal peace and paradise.
Please keep the family in your prayers and Jazakum Allah Khairun.
