Help us raise funds for medical mission to Uganda.

We are two Norwegian 4th year medical students at Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland. In September 2019, we will be part of a delegate that will travel to Yumbe in Uganda, on the border to South Sudan, where the Bidi bidi Refugee settlement is situated. 

Bidi Bidi houses over 270.000 South-Sudanese refugees, driven from their home country by the ongoing civil war. 

The delegation from from the university so far consists of two Ph.D´s in public health, 1 medical doctor and 2 medical students. The goals of the mission are gathering data and assessing the coverage and access to medical assistance offered to the refugees and local population and providing basal health services at a local hospital. This will be done over the course of approximately one month.

Our hope is to raise funds to help cover expenses for vaccination, equipment and travel for the two of us. Anything raised above that will be used to help our mission. 

We really hope you will help us make a small difference in a mostly forgotten humanitarian catastrophe. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and be immensely helpful to us.
