Ray Carolan - Help us raise funds for future minds

Starting June 30th, Myself, Bressie and friends will be kayaking the entire length of the River Shannon from source to sea – a whopping 330 km journey on the water with the aim of raising funds for the charity's primary school mental health education programme. Dubbed "The Rising", the challenge will end at the mouth of the Shannon in Limerick on July 6th, where there will be a rockin' party to celebrate Breslin's incredible feat. We are calling this event 'The Rising'.

The crew will be passing through many towns and villages but the main stop off points are Dowra, Carrick on Shannon, Lanesborough, Athlone, Banagher, Kilgarvin, Killaoe and Limerick City.

"The Rising" is more than just a fundraising challenge for Breslin.

“It is a metaphor for life really”, says Breslin. “We all encounter rough parts of life, and while it's not always easy, with the right tools and skills, navigating through these stormy times becomes less daunting. Our school programs aim to do exactly that - equip the children of Ireland with the necessary skills and tools to cope with life’s challenges, and that work has to begin now.
