Help us raise funds for Amanda’s legacy at C4GP

On the 18th November 2020, Amanda Maguire Deligianni, the founder of Compassion For Greek Paws passed away. She was only 52 and had finally managed to achieve Registered Animal Welfare Group status earlier in the year. The dogs that she rescued were dear to her heart, she loved each and every one of them. It broke her heart every time they left to go to their forever homes but she wanted a better life for them despite the cost to herself. She would care for day old pups around the clock to ensure they survived, not an easy task but one she was prepared to do time and time again.  Amanda was compassion itself, and she demonstrated it to her beloved dogs teaching them what love is, always ready to offer cuddles and providing the best care possible.

Amanda was the type of person whose life touched many, many people because they connected with her warmth, love and compassion. Her heart was to rescue every stray but was always confined by lack of money and lack of space. The shelter started in 2015 and each year expanded some more to accommodate yet another littler than she couldn’t refuse to help.

With her passing we are still finding our way and don’t know yet what the future holds for Compassion For Greek Paws. We desire to see all of Amanda’s “paws” homed and until they are we need funds to continue to take care of them. If you are able to donate to our appeal in memory of a beautiful, amazing, compassionate lady we would very much appreciate it. Thank you with gratitude from the Compassion For Greek Paws team. Xx
