Please Help Yvonne Overcome Pulmonary Fibrosis

Several years ago my big sis, Yvonne Houser-McCoy, was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). We didn’t know much about it when she first told us, but we learned that it is a disease where the lungs become damaged and scarred causing the lung tissue to become stiff, which causes shortness of breath.
When she was first diagnosed, the doctor told her she only had 3-5 years to live (the average life span after diagnosis). However, if you know my sister and our family, you know we are a family of Believers and we know God has the final say. Well, it’s been 7 years since her diagnosis, praise God! Unfortunately, in her most recent doctor visit, the lung scan showed the disease has severely progressed and she is now on oxygen. Since there’s no cure, the only treatments are medicines (that may slow the progression, but, have numerous debilitating side effects), oxygen/breathing therapies and finally a lung transplant.
Yvonne’s hope and trust is in God. She believes that God has given us everything we need that pertains to life and Godliness. She is a holistic health practitioner and works with clients providing all-natural products and services that are biblically based for healing the mind, body and soul. Even after this most recent health challenge, she hasn’t let it slow her down much. She’s still working with clients through counseling, intercessory prayer and various natural treatment sessions--she’s even talking about going back to school to get her PhD.
About a month ago, Von learned about a natural treatment (cellular therapy) that’s received great reviews. Yvonne believes this is an answer to prayer and wants to have this treatment. She’s spoken with several recipients of the treatment and they all have significant results. However, this natural treatment is around $11,000 and is not covered by insurance. With the additional recent medical expenses for a portable oxygen concentrator ($2,000), ongoing breathing therapy and numerous out of pocket medical expenses, she could definitely use some support. We are asking for any help you can give to assist with the expenses of medical bills and this lifesaving treatment, which we believe is a God-send.
Von is not one to ask for help, but I know this has been a challenge for her. With the numerous close family members and friends that she’s touched throughout her life and ministry, I thought some of you may want to bless her in her time of need. Any amount will help, but if you can’t give money, please join us in prayer as we believe for her complete healing to the glory of God.
