Hi. We are the very proud children of Leo Tom Durden Jr. Unfortunately, he has passed away, and the VA does not help much with laying him to rest. We are hoping to be able to honor our father the way he deserves.
Leo Tom Durden Jr was known for so many things!
- Vietnam Veteran
- Champion Snowmobile racer on grass, snow, and ice
- 300 Game Bowler
- Motocross Champion
- The man that survived a 100 mile an hour head-on collision on a snowmobile
- Raised four children
- Ran a mile in 4 minutes flat
- Never hesitated to praise his family consistently.
We are very proud to have had such an amazing, supportive, accomplished and loving father. We will use the funds for the proper ceremony with military honors, and headstone, and tie up a few loose ends that are left.
