Help us put the A in STEAM!!

Our Benjamin Bengals are "STEAM" Machines!!  They put their hearts and souls into their core classes as well as the creative arts aspects of their education through our Band and Theatre programs.  Help us ensure that the "A" in STEAM continues to give our middle school students the next generation skills they need.  

Our Band teacher, Matthew Turek, winner of the 2017 Illinois Education Association’s New Teacher Of The Year Award, has grown the program to new heights.  He continues to keep the 5th-8th grade students engaged and excited about learning and performing.  Please help us make sure he has the equipment needed to make the most of the time he has with the students during the school day.  He is in need of music stands, chairs, and chair carts.  

Melissa LaMantia, April Tepe, and Danielle DeChristopher are the amazing forces behind our spectacular theatre productions like Oklahoma, Fiddler on the Roof, and this year’s spring performance, Newsies!  In just 3 months, they turn our students into singers, actors, dancers, builders, painters, and light and sound technicians!  Help us make sure they have the tools they need like musical accompaniments and stage extensions to take the productions to the next level.
