It's a tragic motivator for an amazing event. On June 11th, 2022, the "You are Gold" concert will occur in Ogden, Ut. Seating for 8000 people will allow for a large number of in-person attendees. We have the rare opportunity to present this concert from a peer perspective, with peer influencers promoting it. We are excited about the thought of packing an arena with those that are young and impressionable to hopefully change the trajectory of the mental health statistics and give resources and tools to the adults that support them or attend themselves. This event was the effect of our founder, Smith losing a friend to suicide this winter and another one a year ago; this is compounded with another recent loss in the same area.

We have mental health professionals on our committee as well, lining up resources and education for all attendees. We want this to be an awareness event and one where people walk away hopeful and prepared. We are working with the school districts and intensive treatment facilities to get complimentary tickets into the hands of those who could use the event but maybe cannot afford to take their family. Sponsors will allow for these complimentary tickets as well as reduced prices for all tickets.
