We are L.O.V.E. Is The Answer.
We teach people how to love their neighbor, we give them opportunities to do that, and we create media in all forms to share some of the stories to inspire more people to love their neighbor. It's a movement of goodness, gratitude, light, and love.
We've been around as an organization since 1999, starting as Eclipse Sports & Entertainment. We spent our first decade making meaningful movies and TV shows, publishing inspirational and educational books, and raising more than $30 million for charities nationwide -- mostly through the production of 5-star celebrity golf events.
In 2012, an experience I had being racially profiled by police led to me make an award-winning film called WALKING WHILE BLACK: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer to improve police-community relations. That film has changed the way hundreds of law enforcement agencies train their people and it has brought countless communities and their police departments closer together.
The film birthed the L.O.V.E. Is The Answer Movement -- which is rapidly growing throughout the U.S. and in other parts of the world. Our organization now has two divisions: Eclipse Productions for media production to tell inspiring and informative stories, and L.O.V.E. Is The Answer for educating, empowering, equipping people to make a positive difference in their community.
We're doing this ongoing GoFundMe to help us help more people. Recently, together with our donors and community partners, we've held school assemblies and led after school programs for middle schoolers, made arrangements for more than 300 backpacks filled with school supplies to go to students, surprised a teacher with a car, taught more than 100 community leaders how to collaborate more with each other to do good works, and helped a 72-year-old Marine veteran named Paul Stephens go from homelessness to a residential program where he is safe, cared for and receiving life-changing benefits. And, we helped him register for VA healthcare for the very first time in his life. And we're just getting started with him. There's much more to come. Including this. We are dedicating all of the net proceeds from our GoFundMe during the month of February to go to him. And, we are helping him turn his love of playing the piano into the piano teaching business that he has dreamed of. And there's even more. He's on his way to permanent housing through the HUD/VASH program once he completes the program he is in at the Baltimore Station nonprofit in Baltimore City. Your contributions this month will help Paul get the things he needs for his new home, help him build a nest egg of savings, and help him with the ongoing care he will need going forward. Life truly takes a village. We invite you to become part of Paul's village -- his Ohana (family).
We're based in Ellicott City, MD but we help people everywhere -- including some truly inspirational work we did with some children in Africa a few years back!
Sometimes we know the people we raise money and other resources for, and sometimes they just find us. In the case of the homeless veteran we are caring for now, he walked into our Campaign for Humanity Summit and said he needed help. We wrapped arms around him immediately and haven't let go since.
We will always use funds from the GoFundMe to help people who need it, and tell stories that will inspire more people to do good work in their communities. Join us. Become part of the movement. Be a L.O.V.E. song.
Speaking of "Be a L.O.V.E. song," that's the name of our anthem, released on Valentine's Day 2026 on YouTube. The music video includes photos of our work throughout the U.S. during the past 8 years. Give it a watch and a listen and then join us in spreading love, being love, by contributing to our GoFundMe.

Below, watch the video featuring scenes from L.O.V.E. Is The Answer's inaugural "Campaign for Humanity Summit" 1/20/26 at the East Columbia 50+ Center. Near the end of the event, the Summit took a turn from learning about humanity to practicing it.
A Marine veteran who was homeless in Columbia, MD came into the lobby and shared with one of our team members that he was looking for a place to live. At the very same time, we were in small groups talking about solutions for affordable housing! It was as if the universe told us -- ok, you talked about helping people, now get to work. Meet him in the video -- and hear him play the piano.
That day, he left with a box of food and a promise that we would help him. In the days following, we have helped him with rides, food, and money. We helped him get into a shelter right before a huge snow storm hit. One of our Summit participants, a man we met just days before the Summit, took him to the VA in Baltimore to apply for and receive his Veteran I.D. Card, which gives him immediate access to healthcare!
Now, we are committing our GoFundMe proceeds for the entire month of February to him -- to help him get into a permanent home and help him get a fresh start with ongoing support. Watch this moving video update about the work of L.O.V.E. Is The Answer, and contribute as much as you can to help a homeless veteran find a home -- and to help L.O.V.E. Is The Answer continue to do the work of educating, inspiring and empowering people to love their neighbors.
PLEASE GIVE BIG AND SHARE WIDELY

Imagine a community where everyone cares enough about the people around them to be the change their neighbors wish to see.
That’s the heart of L.O.V.E. Is The Answer, an inspirational, aspirational, educational movement built around a simple but powerful pledge: I pledge to LEARN about the people in my community, to unconditionally OPEN my heart to their needs as if they were all immediate family members, to VOLUNTEER to be part of the solution in their lives during both good and challenging times, and to EMPOWER everyone I meet to do the same as if our lives depended on each other.
Through workshops, films, classes, events, and our youth leadership program (Kona Club), we help children, teens, adults, schools, organizations, and communities cultivate empathy, healing, and social responsibility.
More than 400,000 people have participated in our film screenings, discussions, educational programs, and community events centered on the L.O.V.E. principles. We’ve transformed lives in dozens of communities throughout the U.S. – and now, we’re asking you to become a force multiplier for good by joining us in putting L.O.V.E. into action in communities nationwide through our daily work and our new social media TV series! This is a movement for the people by the people – and you have the power to be a catalyst for real, meaningful change in people’s lives!
