UPDATE 8/20/25: OUR BIG GIVE AUGUST 19 at Lake Elkhorn Middle School in Columbia, MD was a HUGE SUCCESS! 324 backpacks filled with school supplies were donated to the school, teachers were fed and entertained, and a teacher received a major surprise blessing! Thank you everyone for helping to make it happen.

Imagine a community where everyone cares enough about the people around them to be the change their neighbors wish to see.
That’s the heart of L.O.V.E. Is The Answer, an inspirational, aspirational, educational movement built around a simple but powerful pledge: I pledge to LEARN about the people in my community, to unconditionally OPEN my heart to their needs as if they were all immediate family members, to VOLUNTEER to be part of the solution in their lives during both good and challenging times, and to EMPOWER everyone I meet to do the same as if our lives depended on each other.
Through workshops, films, classes, events, and our youth leadership program (Kona Club), we help children, teens, adults, schools, organizations, and communities cultivate empathy, healing, and social responsibility.

More than 300,000 people have participated in film screenings, discussions, and educational programs centered on the L.O.V.E. principles. We’ve transformed lives in dozens of communities throughout the U.S. – and now, we’re asking you to become a force multiplier for good by joining us in putting L.O.V.E. into action in communities nationwide through our daily work and our new social media TV series! This is a movement and a show for the people by the people – and you have the power to be a catalyst for real, meaningful change in people’s lives!
Introducing Our TV Series: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer
We’re launching a heartfelt new TV‑series spotlighting powerful, local acts of love and transformation—helping people meet real needs in their community through L.O.V.E.
Our TV series will help a different family every episode. We’ll help sick children, honor disabled veterans, celebrate teachers, show our gratitude for peace officers, help exonerated people get back on their feet, and more! Be sure to grab a box of tissues every time you watch an episode of our show because it will be all about the feels!
Episode 1 will be filmed August 19, 2025, at Lake Elkhorn Middle School in Columbia, MD — a place where we’ve already formed strong connections and launched our Kona Club program for middle schoolers. https://trylovenow.com/episode-1/

Four Reasons Why This Show and Movement Matters
1. Empowering Young Leaders: Middle school kids who participated in our first Kona Club cohort (May–June 2025) reported greater empathy, teamwork, self‐esteem, and community engagement. Our volunteers reported experiencing similar results -- Win Win!
2. Visual Impact: The TV series will bring the L.O.V.E. principles to life in ways that move people—showing how community, compassion, and small acts create real change.
3. Root‑Cause Healing: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer addresses trauma, bias, emotional isolation—and fosters healing through practical, proven education.
4. We Need Each Other – More Than Ever: Ordinary people doing extraordinary things is inspiring! This movement will show people that their positive actions, no matter how small, make a difference!
