It is with deep sorrow that we say our final goodbye's for my dear aunt, Heidi Cohen. She ended her fight with ALS on Sunday, February 16th. She was diagnosed with ALS in 2014 and was only given 3 years to live. She fought for 6 years and made every day count.
There wasn't a day that she didn't smile and show her love for all that were around her. Before her battle with ALS started, she was fun loving, outgoing, so creative, and would cook, bake, and make incredible cakes and gift baskets. Throughout her battle she lost mobility and her ability to speak. Towards the end, she was confined to her bed and relied on a device that used her eyes to say words and form sentences.
She is survived by her two children, my cousins, Aviv Cohen and Eden Cohen. They need help in covering necessities and additional funeral costs. Please help us lay her to rest so she can finally be in peace. Any bit helps. We thank you in advance.
